Terms and Conditions

IMPORTANT! Please read this document in its entirety.

Please check your itinerary and/or documents when you receive them. Call us immediately if you have any questions. Retention of tickets, reservations, or booking after issuance shall constitute acceptance of all the provision in the conditions listed hereto as well as those terms and conditions set forth in the announcements and brochures of the tour/packages, cruise or service.

Documents: Traveler(s) are responsible for checking their documents and itineraries upon receipt. Call Time Out For Myself immediately if you see any discrepancies or have any questions.

Reconfirmation: Traveler(s) are responsible for reconfirming airline reservations before travel: 24 hours for domestic and 72 hours for international. Reconfirmation is mandatory for international flights. Failure to use all ticketed segments may result in automatic canceling of all continuing and return flights. Duplicate bookings may result in automatic canceling of all flights.

Check-in: It is recommended that all travelers check in at the airport 2 hours in advance for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.

Security and flight issues can be accessed at www.faa.gov. Airport security is constantly changing. Please plan plenty of time to pass through security checkpoints at airport: Minimum 2 hours for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.

These are some of the current security measures in place at most airports:

-- A thorough search and security check of all airplanes and airports before passengers are allowed to enter and board aircraft.

-- Reserve boarding areas for passengers only. Only ticketed passengers will be allowed to proceed past airport security to catch their flights.

-- E-ticketed passengers require copy of receipt with airline or travel rep logo as well as government issued id.

-- Vehicles near airport terminals will be monitored more closely. Some airports will require vehicles to remain hundreds of feet back affecting passenger pick up and drop off.

-- No knives allowed on planes or in airport facilities such as restaurants.

-- Expect long delays at every point of entry - parking lots, airport entrance, ticket counters, security and gates.

-- Prepare to be searched and have items confiscated if they appear remotely dangerous including nail clippers, razors and sewing kits.

-- Carry on luggage may be restricted and you may be forced to completely unpack and repack carry-on luggage.

-- Baggage matching to each passenger before take-off.

-- Pre-flight cabin checks may be required before take-off.

-- Airline may ban or restrict unaccompanied minors.

-- Passes issued at gate to meet/drop-off unaccompanied minors. Please pre-arrange.

Luggage: Baggage limits vary by airline. Generally, each passenger has a baggage allowance of 70 lb., not to exceed 2 check-in pieces per person and 2 carry-on. Carry-on is limited to two ITEMS per person, your purse counts as an item. If you need more than this try putting a small purse in a backpack.

This is subject to change by airlines at any time. Additional luggage may be possible at additional cost and with prior consent by airline.

International Travel: DOT is requesting airlines obtain an emergency contact name and telephone number for all international travelers. It is the travelers' responsibility to obtain proof of citizenship, passports, visas, vaccinations, and health requirements of the country of origin and destination. The official source for this information, as well as travel advisories, is the U.S. State Department 202-647-5225 and foreign embassies. Center for Disease Control (CDC) 404-332-4559 can answer questions about travel health. Some health insurance programs are invalid during international travel, check your policy.

Additional taxes may be due and collected at the airport.

Mexico & Canada: Minors traveling to Mexico or Canada without both natural parents, requires written and notarized permission from the non-accompanying natural parent. Canada immigration will deny entry to those convicted of a DUI. Proof of citizenship is required for U.S. citizens for travel to/from Mexico or Canada.

Frequent Flyer: Program numbers should be verified with the airline at check-in. Retain passenger receipt of tickets AND boarding passes until mileage credit appears on your statement.

Airline Bankruptcy: If an airline declares bankruptcy, it is not obligated to carry you or to refund tickets issued before filing bankruptcy. Travel agents are not allowed to refund tickets. Money given to a travel agent immediately becomes the property of the airline. An airline that declares bankruptcy might continue service, limited service or stop completely. Other airlines might accept passengers but are not required to honor your ticket. Travel insurance purchased before the airline declares bankruptcy will protect your travel investment.

Packages and Cruises: Prices are subject to change until paid in full, and are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, increase in taxes, and operational costs. Group tours / packages are based on a minimum number of passengers traveling. If the number of passengers falls below the minimum, a surcharge may be imposed on all passengers, or the departure may be cancelled with refund. Agency charges additional $100 for cancellations, and $25 per person for changes.

Proof of Citizenship/Travel Documents: Travel to foreign countries requires U.S. citizens to carry proper proof of citizenship such as a valid Passport. Time Out For Myself recommends that each traveler obtain a passport or visa (if applicable). Proof of citizenship requirements is the responsibility of the individual traveler. Failure to provide proper proof of citizenship documentation could result in denied boarding and no refunds will be made for lack of papers. If you are unsure of the proper documents please ask your agent.

For international country entry requirements, traveler warnings, and advisories, it is recommended that traveler(s) call the Travel Advisory Section of the US State Department (202-647-5225) or access the State Department''s on-line travel advisory service at www.state.gov/travelinformation/travelwarnings.

Customs Information: Please visit the Customs Dept. website at www.customs.gov. Prescriptive Medicines: It is recommended that all prescription medicines be kept in original bottles and only enough taken to be consumed while traveling. Check with your physician to see if any are narcotic-based. If so, request your physician to provide you with a notarized letter on letterhead listing medications and reason for taking. A printout from your pharmacy for all prescriptions, stating their use is recommended.

Medical: For medical information about vaccines, diseases, etc. for the countries you are visiting, call your county health department and/or physician. To obtain Center for Disease Control information: Phone (404-332-4559) or access their website at www.cdc.gov/travel.
